Which City is Number Four in the USA? (Level 1)

The United States has many big cities. New York is number one. It is very large and very famous. Los Angeles is number two. It is the home of Hollywood and the film industry. Chicago is number three. It is famous for tall buildings.

Now people ask: Which city is number four?
Many people give answers. Five cities are popular choices: Washington DC, San Francisco, Atlanta, Miami, and Boston.

Washington DC

Washington DC is the capital of the United States. It has many important government buildings. You can visit the Capitol, the White House, and the Lincoln Memorial. The Smithsonian museums are free. The city is easy to walk around. People say it is friendly and open.

San Francisco

San Francisco is famous for technology and history. It is close to Silicon Valley. Many people work in the tech industry here. The city also has a big Chinatown and Japantown. Tourists enjoy food from many cultures. The weather is cool but not too hot.

Atlanta

Atlanta is a large and busy city. It has the world’s busiest airport.
The 1996 Olympic Games changed the city. It is now home to many new people. Atlanta is famous for music, especially hip-hop. The Beltline is a long path with shops and parks.

Miami

Miami is a city in Florida. It is very international.
Many people speak Spanish. It is called the gateway to Latin America.
Tourists visit the beaches, art areas, and restaurants. Miami is also famous for sports. The football star Lionel Messi now plays here.

Boston

Boston is one of the oldest US cities. It has many universities like Harvard and MIT. The city feels small and walkable. People like the four seasons, especially autumn. Boston has many museums and historical places. It is famous for its history and culture.
